Meet & Greet: Leadership Lessons with Horses
Come experience leadership through leading the horses and mini donkey at Solid Ground on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019 from 6:30pm-7:30pm!
This Meet & Greet is hosted by Solid Ground and will cover the leading basics, techniques, and more! This will be a hands on workshop where everyone will be able to practice with the horses and mini donkey at Solid Ground. All levels and ages 16 and older are welcome and encouraged to attend! Whether you have no horse experience or are a seasoned competitor, this is a great opportunity to build leadership skills, meet the people and animals behind Solid Ground, and spend time with the horses.
Meet & Greets are $15 per participant. Solid Ground is a non-profit organization that helps people heal through Equine Assisted Life Coaching. All funds from this event directly support the horses veterinary needs. Payment is collected at the start of the event and may be in the form of cash or check.
Meet & Greets are held at Solid Ground on the third Wednesday of every month. Every month will be a different topic.
Solid Ground is the barn at the END OF THE ROAD located at 10 Elizabeth Lane in Scarborough, ME 04074 at the end of the neighborhood on the right. Please keep in mind the SPEED LIMIT on Elizabeth Lane is 15 mph. Solid Ground’s outdoor area and surrounding the barn is all light up by spotlights, including the whole arena.
Proper footwear is required. This means a sturdy closed toed shoe such as rain boots, muck boots, riding boots, cowboy boots, etc. Please no sneakers or thin boots.
