Equine Kinesiology Taping Clinic
This unique clinic will include:
-A presentation outlining the basic principles of kinesiology taping for the horse.
-Hands-on instruction of several tapings that participants can use to tape their own horses.
-3 rolls of tape of varying width.
-We will be working with Solid Ground’s equines, no need to bring your own!
What to bring:
-Closed toed sturdy shows such as muck boots. No sneakers.
-Your own lunch, snacks, and drinks.
-Notebook and pen
WHEN: August 31, 2019. From 10:00AM – 2:00PM
WHERE: Solid Ground, 10 Elizabeth Ln, Scarborough, ME 04074. Solid Ground is located at the end of Elizabeth Lane on the right. The speed limit on Elizabeth Lane is 15 mph.
FEE: $150 per person before August 17th. After August 17th, the fee is $160 per person.
Maximum attendees is 12 people.
This clinic is lead by Horse and Rider Health affiliate Sara Twickler and Racheal Hackett.
Sara Twickler, EqOT certified with Spencer Laflure in Natural Balance Dentistry in 2016, then advanced into the practice of Equine Occlusal Therapy in 2018. Twickler is also certified in kinesiology taping for both the horse and rider, and in Equine Craniosacral Therapy. She earned her B.S. in Molecular Microbiology/Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts and has a diverse background of work history including 5 years of experience in the human dentistry field, dog rescue in Colorado and commercial fishing in Alaska. Twickler’s experience with horses spans 33 years and currently travels nation-wide to service her client’s horses.
